From Chattanooga
Take I-24 heading toward Nashville until you get to I-59S to Birmingham split. Take
I-59S until you get into Alabama. Take the first exit past the Alabama Welcome Center.
It is the Sulpher Springs exit. This is county road 140, (aka Sulpher Springs Road) see map . Turn right when you get off I-59S. Follow this road about 4.1 miles to county road 788. Turn right onto 788. Follow this about 1 mile to Calvary 1st Baptist Church. Turn right on the dirt road that runs beside the church. Follow this to Smith Chapel and Cemetery.
Note: If you don’t see the county road sign for 788, you will dead-end into state road 75. Turn around and take the first paved road to the left. This is 788.
